Pogg can help your kids learn to spell, or simply entertain them for a while.Pogg is an iPhone and iPod Touch game for kids aged 1-8. It stars Pogg, a little green alien who can do all sorts of things: run, hop, sing, go to the moon, and heaps more.
It has a spelling mode that encourages your child to think up various actions, type them, and see Pogg do them. There is also a picture mode that presents all of Pogg's actions as icons, so your child can simply press on an icon and enjoy watching the high quality animated movies of Pogg doing things.
Pogg is consistently getting high rated reviews by parents, children, and teachers. One reviewer goes as far as to call Pogg "without doubt one of the best games for kids I have seen in the App Store".
Pogg only costs 99 cents (USD), and gives you a fun and educational game that you can keep, teach and entertain your child with for ages (not to mention the free updates you'll get that contain extra actions).
There are 2 modes in Pogg:
Picture Mode presents all of the Pogg animations as little icons that you can play by simply touching the picture. This works well for kids too young to spell words, and also acts as a dictionary of the different things that Pogg can do.
Pogg currently has 30 different movie sequences covered by a spelling dictionary of around 300 word/phrase combinations. With enough support, I plan to release many extra animations as free upgrades to everybody who purchases Pogg.
Pogg is now available to buy on iTunes and the App Store! Pogg costs 99 cents in the US ($1.19 in Australia, etc) - the price of about half a cup of coffee for something you can keep, teach and entertain your child with for ages (not to mention the free updates you'll get that contain extra actions).
